Shop Solutions
The Kentucky-built Ez Series sets your shop apart with Mazak precision and reliability.
We showcased the VC-Ez 20X Vertical Machining Center, one of the most recent additions to Mazak’s Ez Series. Now featuring five-axis capability, the VC-Ez 20X has a full range of spindle, auto tool changer and chip/coolant management options that meet a variety of machining requirements.
Visitors also experienced the QT-Ez 8MY Multi-Tasking CNC Turning Center that provides rotary tooling with a 12-position bolt-on drum turret and Y-axis off-centerline machining for Multi-Tasking processing in a single setup.
High Production
Make more with Mazak solutions for high-speed processing of small, precise parts.
We unveiled the first turning machine platform in our next generation NEO Series to IMTS attendees. The HQR 200/3 NEO sports two spindles and three turrets – two upper and one lower – for unequaled DONE IN ONE part processing.
We also premiered the latest Kentucky-designed and built SYNCREX 12/8 eight-axis Swiss-Type Production Turning Machine that handles a maximum turning diameter of 0.4724″ and uses a collet plus single-motor ball spline drive.
Advanced Machining
Cutting-edge HYBRID Multi-Tasking and five-axis solutions.
Boasting the largest X, Y, and Z-axis stroke and workpiece size in its class, the HCN-4000 NEO Horizontal Machining Center demonstrated how you can achieve maximum productivity with virtually any type of material. The HCN-4000 NEO was featured with a High Rise PALLETECH system for automated pallet handling.
The next generation Mazak full five-axis VARIAXIS i-700 NEO Vertical Machining Center was also featured at IMTS. The VARIAXIS i-700 NEO provides advanced multi-surface, five-axis machining for parts with complex profiled surfaces.
Multi-Tasking
Slash setup times with one-cycle part processing.
The QTE-100 MSY CNC Turning Center with a gantry loader in our Multi-Tasking Action Area provided an exceptional option to achieve value and performance when your square footage is limited. The QTE-100 MSY can process a wide variety of parts, and for additional Multi-Tasking performance, the machine features a x/- 2.0″ off-center milling.
Attendees also experienced the INTEGREX i-500 Multi-Tasking Machine, which combines the capabilities of a high-powered turning center with those of a full-function machining
Automation and Digital Solutions
IMTS visitors learned how to do more with a variety of automated solutions such as the Ez LOADER collaborative robot that saves time and enables lights-out production. This stand-alone, plug-and-play cobot uses a pallet, programmable logic controller and everything shops need for easy integration.
Guests to Mazak’s booth also learned how to do more and make more through data capture and connectivity with a host of digital solutions such as Spindle Health Monitoring, Smooth Monitor AX and Mazak SMOOTH Link.
Attendees visiting the Mazak booth learned how Mazak MPower Complete Customer Care is with you every step of the way with the most comprehensive machine support in the industry. Additionally, Mazak representatives showed companies of all sizes how easy it is to finance Mazak equipment with one-stop, low-cost Mazak Capital Equipment Financing. Additionally, Mazak Capital Equipment Financing is offering 0% financing on select VC-Ez, VC-Ez X, QT-Ez and QTE models through Sept. 30.
